SlickPay card reader ordered, set up and ready to go?
Let's take a payment!

Firstly, find out how to set up your SlickPay card reader here if you haven't already.
Click on the appointment in the calendar and select 'check out & rebook' as normal.

โWhen you open the check out you will see this window.. you will use the section 'card in-store' for your SlickPay card reader payments. If you want to charge the client's card remotely, you will use 'Charge client's card on file'.
โWhen you are happy with the payment methods and have added any retail, vouchers, deposits and services you can press 'Confirm' on the bottom right and you will see the window below to confirm the payment.
The card in-store transaction amount will be shown on your card reader.
At this stage, your reader will kick into action and display the amount you see on the window above for your client to tap/enter their card and pay.
โOnce the client has paid via the reader, you will see this window. Payment successful!
Do not close this window! It will automatically close when the payment has successfully processed.

6. At this final stage you can CHOOSE IF YOU WANT TO send the client the receipt or not. Then the transaction will be visible in your cash up in the section 'card in-store'.
7. If you need to make changes to a bill, find out how to do that here under the section 'Edit transaction'.

8. If you want to check out a client using your old reader, please use the section 'other' at check out and use your old reader as normal.
