Have you changed over to the SlickPay card reader today? Find out here how to cash up correctly on day 1.

💸

Before you have set up your reader your cash up will be as follows:

  • Card in store is the card reader you have been using, NOT SlickPay.

  • Card online is SlickPay through online payments ie deposits/no show fees.

  • Other is bank transfer, PayPal etc.

Once your SlickPay card reader is enabled your cash up will be as follows:

  • Card in store is payments taken using your SlickPay card reader AND any payments taken using your old reader up until SlickPay is enabled.

  • Card online is SlickPay through online payments ie deposits.

  • Other is bank transfer, PayPal etc AND payments taken using your old reader after the SlickPay card reader is enabled.

In order to cash up on day 1, please note that all of your card payments, whether that be your old machine or your shiny new SlickPay card reader will be in the section 'card in store' section of the cash up.

To determine the difference between your old card machine and your new SlickPay payments to cash up, please use the payouts report in the bottom right of the cash up page as you see below where you see 'SlickPay via Stripe'.

To work out what has been taken through your old reader and what has been taken through your new SlickPay reader simply take the 'card in-store payments' total from 'TOTAL PAYMENTS' and then MINUS the 'Card in-store' total from 'SlickPay via Stripe'.

In the example above, your old card reader total would be £20 and your SlickPay card reader total would be £120.
