How easy is SlickPay?
Very! Check out this short video to see how taking payment is well....Slick!
How much does it cost?
SlickPay transaction charges are 1.29% + VAT🎉. 1 simple flat fee.
This is a flat fee for all transactions via Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard Credit and Mastercard Debit cards. Transactions via Diners Club, Corporate Cards and American Express cards will be charged at an additional 2.5%
Reporting your PCI compliance this now takes minutes as Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider.
All fees are exclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
Can a freelance stylist use a Slickpay reader?
Yes. However, you will need to reconnect your SlickPay reader to the network at each location you arrive to.
You can connect your device to your mobile data hotspot but as these networks are often less consistent than a wifi connection, you may still be required to consistently reconnect your reader to your network.
Optimal use of the SlickPay reader would be in a single salon location with consistently good password protected wifi or a direct connection via ethernet cable. Slick and Stripe cannot accept responsibility for devices with connectivity issues due to location or business model.
