Find out below what our top tips are to speed up your device and your internet connection to keep Slick running smoothly!


Please see here some tips and tricks to ensure you get the best out of Slick!

β€’ Plug your main Reception device into an ethernet cable. This gives your device a clear internet connection with no 'noise' from other devices connected to your wifi. Please find more info here.

β€’ Please do a general clear up of the main device used in salon. This can be deleting old files, programmes and images from the device to speed up the processor and improve device health. You can also check for updates on your device.

β€’ Never access Slick through a shortcut, only ever through your browser. Please save your login details on Chrome or Safari to ensure speedy login. You can also clear the history of your browser to speed this up.

β€’ To enable speedy logins and eradicate the need for email/password logins please use our amazing pin codes service. Find out more here how to set these up and speed your salon up while protecting data and improving security.

β€’ Finally, if you see no improvement from a general health check up of your browser and device and you cannot get access to an ethernet cable, please consider purchasing a 'booster' from your service provider which can help to improve the strength of your internet connection. Speak to your provider on how to do this!
