We want you to have the best experience with Slick, so check out these tips to maximise effectiveness on your Chrome Browser!

If you are using an Android device or a desktop/laptop computer, we recommend using Google Chrome.

Updating Chrome

If you have an Android device, Chrome will be updated automatically with your device updates.

If you are on a desktop/laptop, if you need to update your Chrome, your 3 dots in the top right hand corner will turn into an arrow. To update, click on the arrow and follow the instructions.

Clearing your Cache

If you are experiencing problems with Slick and/or other websites accessed through your device, it may be worth clearing your cache. This will free up some memory and hopefully allow you to use your browser seamlessly.

1 - Click on the padlock icon in the URL bar.
2 - Click on Site Settings.

3 - Click Clear data.

Here just click Clear!

4 - Click on the padlock icon again and click Cookies.

5 - Click on any of the websites with 'Getslick' in and then click remove.

Then click done. Then close all tabs with Slick on. Open a new tab and go to the login page!

Bookmark website for easy access

When you are on the page you want to bookmark, click on the 3 dots then the star.

Incognito Mode

This mode allows you to open a private internet session which means that no history will be captured from this session. If you are having trouble logging into a website or wish to access a website without leaving a trace, open an incognito page.

Click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner then choose 'New Incognito Tab'.

Zoom In/Out

If you are using Slick, you will be unable to zoom in/out on your Android device. This is due to the mobile settings for Slick.

However, if you are using Chrome on a desktop/laptop device, you can zoom in/out by going to 'View' and choosing Zoom In/Out. This will also show you the shortcut keys should you need them:
