Using the SlickPay card reader in store? Not sure if you need the Dock? Find out here if you might!

Firstly - what is the dock and how much does it cost?

The Dock is an optional piece of hardware that you ca buy to accompany the SlickPay reader in store. It costs Β£39 plus VAT.

It looks like this! πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

The reader will nestle on top of the dock nice and neatly to display or to charge.

So, what does the Dock do and do you need one in your salon?

The Dock charges the reader itself. You can charge the reader without a Dock by simply plugging the charger into the reader and into the mains.

Note - Do not use the charger plugged into a laptop to attempt to charge the SlickPay reader.

The Dock also provides a direct internet connection to the reader. If you are in a location with poor wifi and need to opt for an ethernet cable to ensure a stable connection - you do need the Dock.

You can plug the ethernet cable directly into the Dock and keep the reader attached to ensure a strong connection for processing payments in store!

Does the Dock have a warranty?

Your purchase includes a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the shipping date. More information can be found under the Terms and Conditions.
