Did you know 40% of women research online before going to a salon. So, what does your online presence say about you?

Google Business is the perfect place to get clients to leave a review! It shows up in Google search and helps drive clients to your business. See below an example of our Google Reviews page.

If you are unsure if you have an account or want to know more, click here.

To request a review for your Google page you have TWO options on Slick. You can manually send messages to last weeks clients using the Client Groups page or utilise the Auto Client Connect feature on Slick.

Option 1

  • Firstly, head to “Clients, Notifications and Marketing”.

  • Scan through the Client Groups until you find the bucket named “Last weeks clients”.

    It looks like this!

  • Select the button, “Show me Clients” and this will take you to a list of last weeks customers and profile information.

  • From this page, you can create an SMS to send to them, thanking them for coming in and inviting them to leave a review, and maybe also re-book!

Check out our Marketing tips here for hints on how to compose the perfect message to get your customers leaving rave reviews!

So, what about Auto Client Connect?

Option 2

Clients who visit your salon and have their appointments checked out on the diary will be sent a prompt via SMS 2 hours after their appointment, with a message designed by you and a link to your Google/Facebook review page.

  • To set this up, please go to menu - clients, notifications and marketing - auto client connect and enable the message with any text you choose!

Hint - We will only prompt the same client a maximum of 3 times per year, so your regulars won’t get bombarded!

You can also set up other automated messages to retain your clients and even treat them for their birthday! Check out other automated messages here.
