How to add new categories and services

Enter your service and price list

Add categories and fill them with services to ensure your staff and clients know all of the services your team can carry out.


Adding new Categories

  • Go to Menu in the top left corner of your calendar.

  • Select Staff & Business Settings.

  • Then Service Prices & Timings.

Here you will see a list of your categories (or the 4 default categories that Slick has setup to help you). All categories can be renamed or removed and you can change the colour of each. To do so, just press the Edit & Delete Buttons.

You can create new categories by clicking "New Category", you will find this at the bottom of the list of services.

Add as many categories as you like:


Adding new Services

To add services to your categories, just click or tap anywhere on the category and click the purple button that says 'Add another service'.

Enter the name for your service and then 'toggle on' which job titles can carry out this service.

For each staff role, you are able to set different prices and different application and/or development time, as these may vary according to seniority and experience.Β 

🚨 When you're done, remember to click 'save new service' at bottom to save your new service 🚨

What if I have services that price by the hour or vary according to hair length or thickness?


That's no problem! If you price by the hour, simply set the application time as 01:00 hour and the price as your hourly charge, and then click "display as from price" at the bottom.Β 

You may also wish to include that the price is per hour in the service name, like below.Β 

When it comes to booking in the service, you can simply adjust the duration and price to suit the client's needs.


Any services you add will also need to be ticked on for online booking to show for clients to book themselves in!

You can assign colours to categories so that services are different colours in your calendar, making it easy to see at a glance what type of service you've got coming up next!
