Consultation Forms Permissions

Who can view, send, and manage consultation forms

Written by Kate Biel

📝 Overview

This article breaks down the four permission levels for Consultation Forms: Manage, Send and view, View only, and No access. And how each one builds on the last. It also covers the default access given to Managers and Receptionists, and how to adjust permissions for any staff member in Settings.

💡 Before You Start

  • You'll need Manager access to change staff permissions.

4️⃣ The Four Permission Levels

Access is set per staff member, and the levels are hierarchical — each one includes everything below it:

  • Manage — full access, including building, editing, and activating forms. Includes Send and view.

  • Send and view — send new forms, send again, fill in store, and view statuses. Includes View only.

  • View only — see forms and their statuses, open and print completed ones.

  • No access — can't see or interact with Consultation Forms at all.

🔓 Default Access

By default, Managers get Manage and Receptionists get Send and view — but this is fully configurable per staff member, so you can adjust it to fit how your salon actually works.
