If you are taking tips via SlickPay and staff are not receiving tips in their bank account then you will see a warning message on your SlickPay menu screen.
This will show how many team members are not receiving tips
To set up a Stripe account so they can receive tips, click on Setup tipping account on the screen or click this link
If a Staff member does not want to or can not set up a Stripe account, tips can be sent to the main Stripe account for your business.
If you would like their tips to be sent to the business account then please advise our Support team via Live Chat or Phone and they will enable this for you.
Please note it is your responsibility to ensure you comply with all relevant best practice, taxes and laws regarding tipping.
My tips field on the Daily cash up does not match my SlickPay tips report?
This will be due to your tips being held.
When tips are held they will not show on the SlickPay via Stripe report as they have not been paid via Stripe. Once they are released, they will show on this table.
For this reason - once you have enabled and set up your tipping account, you might have a discrepancy on the cash up when filtering by your name.
What if it's the other way round and my 'Slickpay via Stripe' tips are higher than my 'Tips' figure?
If the tips amount on the left is higher than eg. 'SlickPay' tips this is because tip amount on left hand side counts tips taken by card in-store, cash other and/or card on file.
