How to enable it for your staff

Firstly, you need to ensure that you have your Stripe account enabled for the salon. You can find out here how to set this up as a Company and here as a Sole trader.

Then you need to go to Menu - Online booking, E vouchers and Payments, Online staff and services. From here, you can select 'Setup Stripe' beside the staff member that you would like to enable split payments for.

It looks like this! ⬇️

When you click on 'Setup' you will see this page open up.

From here, the staff member needs to follow the steps on Stripe to add their personal details to link their bank account and start getting their payments! Stripe will email the client directly to verify their identity before payouts are made.

After these have been successfully enabled, you will see the status button change to the button below.

This is where the staff member will be able to view their past payments and see what payments they are expecting to come into their account by clicking on 'Stripe login'.

What about the other Stripe account labels?

Restricted - Setup was complete. New additional information is required for the account to allow processing of payments. This may be ID or additional personal information like bank details or address confirmation. Please note, Stripe accounts for under 18's will need to add a parent/guardian to their account.

Incomplete - The setup has not been completed and the account has not successfully processed any payments. Additional information is required to enable payments to this account.

Both of these can be solved by assessing your account by clicking on 'Stripe login'.

No account - This person has not set up or attempted to setup a Stripe account for self employed payments.
