If you work in a salon using Slick and are looking to set up your own account/ ‘rent a chair’.

Please find below the steps to help you set up your own account, separate from the Slick salon you work at

Setup New Account

Create your new Slick account using the below link & following the step-by-step instructions:

Slick Transferring Salon’s Client List

Slick is unable to identify individual staff member’s client lists – it’s only possible to move your entire client list.

To move your client list - we require the written permission of the registered Slick Account Owner from their registered email. Find out below how to do this!


This process needs to be done by the registered Account Owner:

The registered Account Owner Name & Email can be found under Slick Menu > Staff & Business Settings > Account billing > Your Billing Details

Authorisation

Below is the written authorisation to be sent via email to onboarding@getslick.com from the registered Account Owner [no other format or amended wording can be accepted].

"I [name] hereby give Slick support team permission to transfer the client data from [salon name & ID] to [new salon name & ID] and understand that Slick will export and import the entire client list with no exceptions."

Your location ID can be found from the calendar by clicking on Menu > Location ID

Transferring your own Client List

To transfer your own client list, please email your client list to onboarding@getslick.com in CSV format.

Example format below:

No Authorisation

The Stylist is entitled to set up a new Slick account however no client data or future appointments will be transferred.

This is in compliance with GDPR regulations to stop the unauthorised distribution of sensitive client data without the account holder’s express permission.
