Help self employed staff calculate their takings and revenue

By using the Monthly Dashboard report, you can choose to see revenues split between employed vs self-employed staff to allow people to accurately record their takings.

Please note - you must use check out for this report to work.

  1. Open Business Reports & Monthly Dashboard

  2. Choose your Date range

  3. Choose which employment type or staff member you want to see

  4. Once you have chosen your employment type or staff member your dashboard will update to show you revenue split out:

    1. Total Revenue (inc VAT)

    2. Total Revenue (ex VAT)

    3. Total VAT due (at 20%)


How do I set employment status?

Staff employment status can be set from Staff and business settings - staff profiles & logins. Here, you can edit the section employment type.
