What do the images on the booking modal mean?

The images on your booking modal change depending on the status of the booking

Written by Phoebe Davis

When you open a booking, the coloured banner at the top of the modal changes depending on the booking’s current status. Combined with the icons on appointment cards in the calendar, this gives you an instant read on where every client stands — without opening each booking individually.

What each header means?

Booking confirmed in-salon or by text

The client has confirmed their attendance, either by replying to their SMS reminder or because you confirmed them manually. A tick icon appears on the appointment card in the calendar.

Booking unconfirmed

The booking is added but not yet confirmed by the client or in-salon.

Booking origin label

Under the client profile section you see above - you will see the origin of the booking.

No-show or cancelled by client

The booking has been marked as no-show, or the client cancelled. The header updates to reflect this status.

Client’s birthday is today

Birthday confetti appears in the header when it’s the client’s birthday on the day of their appointment. A great prompt to make their visit extra special! 🎂

Client has paid

The booking has been checked out and payment has been taken. The paid status shows in the header.

Calendar card icons

The same status information is also shown as icons on the appointment cards in the calendar view, so you can scan the whole day without opening each booking. For a full list of calendar card icons, see What do the icons on appointment cards in the calendar mean.
