Slick can prompt clients to select if they have or had not had a patch test. As this is a legal requirement, we know it's important to get it right and keep everyone safe!

At present, the system allows patch tests/consultations to overlap with other appointments. The reason behind this is that patch tests typically do not take much time. So, our priority is to maximise your revenue by making as many slots available as possible rather than preventing you from taking bookings due to a patch test being in the calendar...

If you would prefer patch tests to be booked in their own individual slot please go to Online booking and payments.

Scroll down to 'Services requiring a patch test' then tick 'Don't allow patch tests to overlap appointments'.

To enable a patch test for your services just follow the 2 steps here!

1 - Go to Online booking and payments and scroll down to 'Services requiring a patch test'.

2 - Tick the box next to services you want clients to book a patch test for!

When a client is booking one of the services you have enabled for patch tests they will select their service and staff members followed by the below prompt!

Patch test policy

Your Patch Test Policy will show on the patch test prompt that is displayed to your client's when booking online. Slick allows you to customise the text for your policy as you wish!

You can customise this from the online booking and payments page, under policy and terms. Just click on 'Patch test policy' and update yours!
