Sometimes clients will encounter problems when trying to pay online. Some clients need a helping hand to use the Booking Flow online to make appointments.

Read this handy article to help advise your clients on how to get those Online Bookings over the line and start taking bookings while you sleep 😴

πŸ’‘ We suggest you head over to Online booking and Payments, Copy your booking URL and take a look at yours to familiarise yourself with the process.

This is what the process looks like when Booking Online. Firstly, you will come to the landing page which looks like this ↓.

After selecting which Services the client would like, they press NEXT to get to the stylist, date and time selections page.

*If the client is selecting a service WITH a processing time they WILL be prompted to book a second service. A second service is anything WITHOUT a processing time.

The client will then select the Stylist they want for their service/each of their services. This helps the system to show them accurate slots based on the Stylists availability!

πŸ’‘To see maximum availability, the client can select the 'I don't mind' which will show them all stylists availability. Please note, clients may see price differences in this case eg Junior vs Senior stylist prices.

The client will then be asked if they have a valid Patch test. This keeps you and the client safe with services that need a Patch test.

Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure clients have a valid patch test.

The client will then be presented with all of the available slots for their chosen stylists. They can navigate along by month by clicking the down arrow next to the month OR by clicking the 'NEXT WEEK/LAST WEEK' arrows. The client then clicks the time slot they want and presses SELECT to continue to Booking/Payment.

The next page details WHAT the appointment is, the cancellation policy and allows the client to add any necessary notes for the salon. They will be asked to confirm they have understood the cancellation policy and review their booking.

At this point, the client is presented with a login page. If they have not signed up before, they can do so here with their Phone number by clicking 'Create account'.

Once they are logged in, they can continue to make their payment or they can confirm their booking. This depends on whether you have Deposits set up! Learn more about why we believe all salons should take deposits here! πŸ’œ

🚨This is the point where the client confirms their booking! AFTER they press Confirm booking! 🚨

IMPORTANT - IF THE CLIENT DOES NOT SEE THE BELOW PAGE AFTER CLICKING 'CONFIRM BOOKING' AND THEY DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, THEIR BOOKING WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL.

The client will receive an email Booking confirmation and Receipt of their payment. If they cannot provide this, their booking was not completed successfully.

If your clients are still struggling to Book online, they can always reach out to the Client facing Slick support team by clicking the Chat Bubble on the bottom right of the booking page. They will be sure to help them with their login, account and making bookings. πŸ’œ
