What should I send from Slick to my accountant?

Which reports from Slick will your accountant need and how do you get them - find out here!

Written by Phoebe Davis

Accountants will need a summary of sales for the month showing net, VAT and gross as well as differences between sales and payments which turned out to be deposits and voucher redemptions which were on a separate report.

Depending on what specifics they ask for, we suggest sending the cash up breakdown and the revenue reports. Find out here how to do that.

1 - Send cash up

Go to Menu - Daily Cash up. Define the date range you need to see using the 'date range' tab at the top of the page.

Click on Menu, but if you're using the App then select 'More' on the bottom right!

Select the black 'Download full report' from the bottom of the 'Total takings' report on the left.

2 - Send the Revenue report

Go to Menu - Business Reports - Revenue.

Click on Menu, but if you're using the App then select 'More' on the bottom right!

Here you can use the date pickers from the top of the page to narrow down the dates you want to see using the Start date and End date drop downs.

You can analyse either with or without VAT from the 'VAT/deductible tax rate' box on the top right.

Then you can assess which reports from the Revenue tab you need and choose to 'Download to Excel' and then email these to your accountant.

Add a user login for your accountant

Go to Menu - Staff and business settings - Staff profiles and Logins.

Click on Menu, but if you're using the App then select 'More' on the bottom right!

Select 'Add a new user'.

Click on the option 'no, this user requires access only'

Then add your accountant details (email, name) and enable remote login to send them a secure like to log in!
