In Slick, occupancy reports are a crucial tool for understanding how resources are utilised across your team. However, some stylists may not appear in these reports or may show an occupancy rate of NaN%. This is often linked to the roles assigned to stylists within the system.
For example, stylists assigned to specific roles, such as graduate, trainee, or junior, are excluded from occupancy reports by default.
This is done to ensure that these specialised roles, often associated with training or limited schedules, do not skew the overall data report! As a result, these stylists will either:
Appear with an occupancy rate of NaN%
Show no data on the report at all
Steps to Include Excluded Stylists
If you want a stylist to be included in the occupancy reports, you can contact the customer support team and they will include this staff member for you!
Alternatively, you can update their role in the Slick system to a standard role. Follow these steps:
Go to Staff and business settings - Staff profiles and logins.
Edit their job title to change it from "graduate," "trainee," or "junior" to a standard role eg stylist or junior stylist.
Save the changes to update the profile.
Refresh the business report you were viewing and confirm that the stylist now appears in the report.
