How to combine two client bills at checkout so two clients can pay together — on desktop and in the app.
When to use this
Use this when two clients want to pay together — for example, a parent and child, or two friends who were both in the salon. You start checkout from one client’s booking and add the second client’s booking to the same bill.
Before you start
Both clients must have bookings in the diary for today, or an existing checked-out bill.
Start checkout from either client’s booking — it doesn’t matter which one you open first.
Access on Desktop
Click the first client’s booking on the calendar.
Select Checkout & Rebook.
On the checkout screen, click Add another client.
Search for the second client by name or phone number.
Select them from the results. If they have a booking today, the search results will show Booking today next to their name — this confirms you’re adding the right bill.
Their booking is added to the checkout automatically.
Review the combined checkout, then continue through Deposits & Vouchers and Payment as normal.
Access in App
Open the Slick app on your phone or tablet.
Tap the first client’s booking in the Diary.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Checkout.
On the Checkout screen, tap Add another client at the bottom.
Search for the second client by name or phone number.
Tap their name to select them. If they have a booking today, Booking today appears next to their name.
Their services are added to the Checkout and the total updates automatically.
Review the combined Checkout and tap Continue to proceed through Deposits & Vouchers and Payment.
💡 Tip: Once both bookings are checked out together, both appointments will show as paid and closed off in the diary.
