View a full log of time, date, and stylist changes made to any appointment β€” and see who made each change.

What the change history shows

Every booking in Slick keeps a record of any changes made to it. The change history log shows you when a booking was moved, what changed, and which team member made the update.

Changes tracked include time changes, date changes, and column changes (moving the booking to a different stylist). If a booking has never been moved, the log will simply show who originally created it and the services added at the time.

This is particularly useful when you need to investigate a scheduling dispute or track down who made a last-minute change.


Access on desktop

  1. Log into Slick on your computer.

  2. Click on the appointment in the calendar.

  3. In the booking modal, click Changes.

  4. The change history list appears, showing all previous versions of the booking. Changes to time, date, or stylist are shown in bold. The team member who made each change is shown at the top of each entry.


Access in App

  1. Open the Slick app on your phone or tablet.

  2. Tap Diary in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Tap the appointment to open the Appointment Details screen.

  4. Tap Changes β†’ in the shortcut buttons below the service list.

  5. The change history log opens, showing all previous versions of the booking.


Reading the change log

Each entry in the log shows where the booking was before the most recent change. The current booking details are shown at the top. Any fields that were changed - date, time, or stylist - appear in bold so you can spot them quickly.

For example:

This booking WAS with Sai and was moved TO Rakesh.

This booking WAS at 10am and was moved TO 12pm.

πŸ’‘ Tip: If a booking has never been moved, the log will only show the original creation details β€” who added it and what services were included. This is normal and means no changes have been made.
