Deleting a stylist column is simple. First, we recommend checking future dates to ensure you've transferred all of their appointments to another staff member. The quickest way to do this is by looking through their schedule using our "Staff View".
Don't worry though, if you miss some appointments, we don't delete them but leave them in a separate hidden column which you can access from the calendar. See below for more info!
Historic reports will still contain data on this staff member and client profiles will still show any appointments had with this stylist.
If you accidentally delete a column, let us know, and we can reactivate it for you 😊
When you're ready to remove the staff member, in the top left of your calendar:
Go to menu - Staff & Business settings!
click on staff profiles & logins
Then click the delete button next to the name of the stylist you want to remove.
You will then be asked if you have moved all future bookings from the column:
Once you confirm the deletion, they will be removed from your calendar and your bill reduced.
[ Please note, deleting a stylist will automatically disable their pincode and email access.]
What happens if the staff member removed still contained client appointments?
If the column you delete still has appointments on some dates, you will see an extra column on the far right called "Deleted Staff" so that we can show you these appointments. Please note that you must go into 'Staff View' and untick 'hide deleted staff' to see this column.
If you'd like to move the appointments into another column, just drag and drop them into another column.
If you need to edit the appointment on the deleted staff column, please drag the appointment to an active staff column.
